We are Vulcan Training & Consultancy, a leading provider of safety training. Due to continuous development, we are looking for a person for the position of Basic Safety Trainings Instructor.

Job description:

Instructors at Vulcan Training & Consultants (VTC) conduct practical and theoretical elements of safety training in a safe and professional manner. Full-time employment (40 hours per week). Starting date to be agreed.

Duties:

• conducting training,

• assessment of trainees' competencies in terms of acquired knowledge, based on industry standards,

• assistance in developing, maintaining and distributing knowledge contained in training materials,

• preparing the training room and space for practical classes, with particular emphasis on safety, and cleaning up after classes,

• preparation and protection of training equipment,

• support in operational activities if necessary,

• compliance with training procedures and their updating.

Required/useful experience:

• required/useful experience (Fire Training Instructor),

• proven experience in fire suppression and response activities,

• emergency situations in a supervisory position.

• pedagogical education or experience in teaching/training,

• good knowledge of English,

• knowledge and/or experience with OPITO/GWO training will be an added advantage.
